Kids are remarkable. This blogsite was started to chronicle an after school class I designed with the help of Citizen Schools, where middle school students in Hyde Park, MA did and inspired acts of kindnesses. Since then, the blog comments on other "kindnesses" and reviews another Citizen's class I have created where students learn about journalism by interviewing everyday heroes. I hope you are inspired by what you read to do something good for someone and write about it.
See us making 350 "kindness bags" to give away on 10/27 at South Station. The bags are full of treats including hershey kisses, pretzels, cookies, a custom "kindness" fortune cookie and a quarter for a parking meter. We will give them away and hope in return recipients of the bags will do something good for someone else and tell us about it.
