More help to the teachers so they can do their jobs better

Being Aware - Watch for Good things, big or small, 9/25/09

Saw a man go out of his way to wait 15seconds for an elderly woman to move towards the door, so he could open it for her...these are the small things that are random, kind and important

9/22/09 Teacher Appreciation

Gave 5 big jars of jellybeans to 5 different teachers at the Rogers School in Hyde Park, MA to show our thanks with a note asking them to "pay it forward"

Citizen Schools, an incredible non profit organization which partners with schools like The Rogers Middle School in Hyde Park, MA to offer its students after school apprenticeships taught by "citizen" teachers like myself. Citizen Schools gives the "teachers" the necessary flexibility to design classes like this one that uniquely fit a volunteer's passions. http://www.citizenschools.org/.
