Kids are remarkable. This blogsite was started to chronicle an after school class I designed with the help of Citizen Schools, where middle school students in Hyde Park, MA did and inspired acts of kindnesses. Since then, the blog comments on other "kindnesses" and reviews another Citizen's class I have created where students learn about journalism by interviewing everyday heroes. I hope you are inspired by what you read to do something good for someone and write about it.

Citizen Schools, an incredible non profit organization which partners with schools like The Rogers Middle School in Hyde Park, MA to offer its students after school apprenticeships taught by "citizen" teachers like myself.
